About Xeveous
Xeveous is the musical project of a songwriter who spent the late 1990s recording original songs onto cassette tapes and mailing them across the Atlantic — from America to Malmö, Sweden.
Those tapes were mixtapes sent to the woman who would become his wife. Alongside songs by The Stone Roses, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and R.E.M., he slipped in his own originals — songs about love, pride, distance, and giving in.
Nearly 30 years later, those cassettes were digitized. The original songs were recovered, analyzed, and brought back to life with modern production tools and AI-assisted arrangement.
Xeveous is the sound of a transatlantic love story, preserved on magnetic tape and reborn in the digital age.
